Whew!! This year’s Lavender Festival was the best ever!

We are now OPEN for U-Pick!!

We have just opened up the farm for U-Pick over the July 4th weekend! The angustifolias are starting to bloom! For those of you who love a fresh Royal Velvet bundle–now is the time!      

Lavender Ice Cream is now available at the farm!

Just in time for summer….Our yummy gourmet Lavender Ice Cream, handcrafted by Elevated Ice Cream in Port Townsend, is now available at the farm and downtown store! The Lavender and White Chocolate is always a favorite of Purple Haze visitors!

New chickens at the farm!

We have some new guests that will be staying in our cute new chicken guesthouse! They are a wonderful addition to the farm and they lay great eggs for us too!

Due to circumstances beyond our control the Geoffrey Castle concerts scheduled for August 23rd and 24th at our farm have been cancelled. It’s a shame because Geoff is SUCH a wonderful violinist and showman but it’s something that’s beyond our control.

Just a frog

I couldn’t resist snapping a pic of this tiny frog perched on our basil plants in our greenhouse. The photo just doesn’t do the golden coloring of this little critter justice but still it’s a cool shot.

Distillation time!

It’s that time of year again to fire up the distiller and start making essential oil. Our new distillation plant is something to behold! It’s a propane fired boiler that generates 1.2 million btu’s and steams about 600 gallons of flowers at a time. That’s…
