Sequim Events: Wine on the Peninsula

There is lots of great wine on the Peninsula, and lots of places to taste it! Next time you stay at our Sequim Vacation Rental, make sure to get out and try some of our delicious local wines and fare!

Wine on the Waterfront is a new place (I think?) in Port Angeles offering wine tastings on a regular basis throughout the month on Mondays. They also have a lot of live music events.

Another great event coming up on the Peninsula is Red Wine and Chocolate from the Olympic Peninsula Wineries. This group of vintners uses Washington grapes to create wines here on the Peninsula. There are seven cellars making Washington artisan wines along our edge of the Straight.

Red Wine and Chocolate is occurring over two weekends next month, February 7&8, and February 14,15 & 16, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Each of the participating wineries is pairing their favorite wines with specialty chocolates. The ticket ($25) includes commemorative wine glasses, wine tasting and a sample of chocolate at each winery. Of course you may also visit each individual winery for tasting at the rate of $5.00.

We are lucky to live here in the Peninsula, where our bounty extends from bulk lavender to Washington State wines all within the watchful gaze of the Olympic Peninsula range. Come and visit us soon, it won’t be trip you forget.
