Harvest, harvest, harvest

Just about all the drying barns are full now and the distiller is going all day long. It looks like we will distill the helichrysum this week so the yellow stripes in the fields will be going away. We are still reeling from the impact of the festival but most of the staff have now had a day off or so.p1010001.JPG

  • Hello….we were at Purple Haze June 26th and missed the time of closing by 30 min., we could see the party going on at the house. Your place is so beautiful and I will come back someday. Bought some products at the airport and will enjoy them I am sure. Just wanted to say how beautiful the place is and I will be ordering products again. Denice

  • I finally had enough lavender in my yard last year to be able to cut some and try to dry it. I have dried other flowers before, so I’m not a novice. However, what I encountered with the lavender is that all the flowers fell off the stems when it dried. Is there some kind of fixative I could/should use to keep the flowers on the stems after drying?

    Thanks for your help!

  • I Loved the lavender festival and especially your farm. I came home and decieded to transplant my lavender bushes. When is the best time to do that?
